The M3 metro line, adding a new urban transport spine on Ankara's western axis, has entered service with an official opening ceremony. TÜMAŞ contributed to the design, preliminary engineering and implementation supervision phases of the line.
With a total length exceeding 16 kilometres, the line is expected to ease the capital's transport load through its daily passenger volume. Tunnel excavations, station interior design and electromechanical infrastructure decisions were shaped by an engineering approach that aligns international standards with local requirements.
In the opening speech it was noted that more than 1,200 engineers, technicians and field workers contributed to completing the project. The M3 line is an important milestone added to TÜMAŞ's portfolio of transport-sector references.
