The engineering consultancy contract we signed for a water infrastructure project in southern Brazil has raised the number of countries in which TÜMAŞ runs projects abroad to 40. Our portfolio, stretching from Yemen to Senegal and from the Turkic Republics to Latin America, has become a marker of Turkish engineering capability on the global scale.
Under the new contract, feasibility and detailed design work for basin-scale water management, potable water treatment and distribution infrastructure will be carried out. The project will be implemented as part of a World Bank-financed programme.
This period of diversification in our work abroad also encompasses long-term capacity-building processes with local teams, financing institutions and international partners. The continental distribution of the international portfolio will be shared in our forthcoming report.
